Shore Dance offers a wide range of ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip hop dance classes, taught in a professional, friendly, and nurturing atmosphere. All of our staff members at Shore Dance are highly qualified and experienced dance teachers to ensure students a quality dance education in a safe environment.
We believe small class sizes are important in providing a quality experience for each student. The majority of our classes are kept to a maximum of 12 students per class.
Our premises includes two spacious dance studios which can be opened out into one larger space, with polished wooden floors, barres and mirrors. We have a large waiting areas with viewing windows into each studio, as well as a uniform shop on site.
We teach the Royal Academy of Dance ballet syllabus, American Jazz Dance Affiliation jazz syllabus, and New Zealand Association of Modern Dance tap and contemporary syllabus, offering students the opportunity to sit annual examinations.

We have a uniform shop at our studio open during the school terms on Tuesdays 4:00-5:30pm, Thursdays 4:00-5:00pm Fridays 5:30-6:30pm and Saturdays 10:45am-12:30pm. Alternatively, you can order from our online shop thedanceshop.co.nz
